Wedge Hand Tool - Pry Bar - 3D Printer Support Removal Tool - Every Day Carry Wedge - Chromoly Steel - Woodshop - Metal Shop
$11.99
Here is a wedge hand tool that I have made for myself but think someone else may want one as well. Do you have to have this? No, but it sure is nice!
I made it so it would enable me to pull 3D printed supports off of models and things I have printed. If you look through the photos there is one with two pair of tweezers that I was using in reverse. I used the handle as a wedge to pull supports from a certain model I was printing.
Yes, I know. Print it right and they just pop off. Well, sometimes they don’t!
I wanted something sturdy and strong. I wanted a small point to it but nothing sharp. I came up with this.
It is not a beautiful object. It is a functional object. It is made to get to work immediately. I've put a small roundover on it so it feels good in the hand. You can oil it or do whatever you want to it but you may need to knock the rust off every once in a while. You could polish it up to an immaculate shine if you want. It's Chromoly Steel so it will flash rust. I will continue to experiment with sealing it. If you have ideas let me know!
5 1/4" Long
Just under 1/2" in width
Thick enough not to bend!
If they sell fast I will do another run of them. If they don't then once they are gone...
